The founder of Harrison Niyi Alonge Care Foundation, Mr. Niyi Alonge has rejoiced with muslim faithful in Ekiti State on the celebration of Eid-el Adha.
In a statement by his Media Council, the Ikere-Ekiti-born philanthropist expressed urged faithful to imbibe obedience, humility, faithfulness and sacrifice that the annual celebration represents.
The UK-based entrepreneur appreciated the teachings of Prophet Mohammed as contained in the holy book and other doctrines that leads people to the path of righteousness and close proximity to the creator.
Alonge further advised that “we should offer prayers for our leaders and cooperate with them as they steer the ship of our dear nation to a safe harbour and glorious destination”.
“We must renew our hope, faith and strength in God in order to withstand and overcome the adversities and temptations of this world”.
The renowned philanthropist admonished politicians and the privileged citizens to display principles and actions which align with the Islamic teachings on peace, love, generosity, gifts sharing and communal support.
