… Congratulates Ondo State Women on 2026 International Women’s Day Celebration
A House of Assembly aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress in Okitipupa Constituency 1, Akinyele Ademusire has hailed the leadership qualities of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa since assumption of office.
The APC leader from Igbotako Ward one who spoke with newsmen in Akure the state capital highlighted the various impacts of the Aiyedatiwa administration in the three Senatorial Districts of the state.
Ademusire states that the Infrastructural interventions being witnessed across the state underlines the commitment of the Governor to leave the state better than he met it.
The APC leader said the completion of Igbotako township roads as well as approval for the dualisation of Okitipupa – Igbokoda road has given the people a high degree of confidence in the administration.
The Assembly hopeful stressed that the provision of infrastructure will not only improve the living standards of the people but also expand the socio-economic and political existence of the state.
Ademusire also highlighted the women empowerment programmes of the present administration, noting that empowerment programme carried out during the 2025 International Women’s Day where no fewer than one thousand women benefitted remains a reference point in the history of the state.
The astute politician used the opportunity to congratulate women in the state on the occasion of the 2026 International Women’s Day.
He urged increased participation of women in the political space, noting that the task of developing the society is a collective responsibility.
Ademusire therefore urged the people of Okitipupa Constituency 1, the local government area and the southern senatorial district to keep promoting peaceful co-existence, noting that development could only be achieved in a rancour-free environment.
The House of Assembly hopeful also described the peaceful conduct of the ward congress in the local government area as a testament to the people’s determination to embrace peace and overall development of the area
