HOW EKITI TWINS CELEBRATED 80TH BIRTHDAY IN GRAND STYLE IN OSI-EKITI

The Osi Ekiti in Ido/Osi Local Government Area of Ekiti State went agog on penultimate Saturday 28th September, 2024 when 80 years old twins celebrated their birthday in a colourful way
The twins Mrs Florence Taiwo Olowoyo and Deaconess Mrs Victoria kehinde Adebayo who lost their mother at the age of 3 years clocked 80 years on earth gave thanks to God almighty for sustaining their lives despite servitude of stormy life they went through.
According to investigation, their elder sister Deaconess Mrs Lydia Eko who is now going to 90 years took them up as a mother and with the help of God almighty model both of them before they were ripe for marriage
Honestly, grace of God radiated in their lives because they both attended primary school education but due to orphanage status they could not forge ahead, glory be to God almighty they both have successful children both in Nigeria and overseas.
The children with common bond, love, sense of appreciation and unity of purpose put heads together to celebrate them in grand style.
The church service took place at the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Oke igbala District Headquarters ilogbo Road, isao quarters, Osi Ekiti, the entertainment of guests followed the same day at the CAC primary school (beside the church premises)Osi Ekiti with the lwarere traditional Native musician performed marvelously well and entertain the guests to the fullest.
The officiating Minister Pastor E T Ikulayo, who is the District Superintendent of the church, urged the celebrants to re-dedicate themselves to the service of God because it is a rare privilege for twins that passed through the stage of orphanage at 3 years to celebrate 80 years on earth.
Cross section of attendees submitted that In a normal clime , the Federal, State and Local Governments supposed to beam their searchlights and celebrate the icons as beacons of culture and tourism in Ekiti State and Nigeria. On this note, bureau of culture and tourism management should from this hemisphere do the needful and celebrate the twins @80 years, they submitted .
The children, grandchildren and great grandchildren of the celebrants were thankful to God for sparing their lives to witness their 80 years of celebration on earth according to Mr Oluwatoyin Adebayo.
In a vote of thanks given in the church by one of their children Comrade Olowoyo Gbenga, he said that all glory should be given to almighty God while priceless appreciation should also go to the Matriarch of ADUBASORE FADOGBA family Lady Evangelist Lydia Eko who stood firmly behind the twins from the age of (3) three years to 80 years, if not because of God and her faithfulness, ” who knows we might not have been born” he submitted.
The programme was attended by high profile guests from across the length and breadth of Nigeria and they all wished them many happy returns with good health and prosperity in Jesus mighty name.
