HOW FAMILY, FRIENDS CELEBRATED PA RUFUS ALALE AT 95 IN IFON
The location was Alale Compound on Sobe Road in Ifon the headquarters of Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State.
It was a gathering of members of Alale Dynasty, their friends, members of the community as well as well-wishers from within and outside the area.
It was a gathering to celebrate their Patriarch, Pa Rufus Alale on the occasion of his 95th birthday.
It was an opportunity to honour a man who has invested not only in his family but also the community as well as the church of God as a Pastor and preacher of the word as well as a church planter.
Present at the occasion were members of the family who include Barrister Clement Kolapo Ojo who is the husband of Mrs Oluwatoyin Ojo(neeAlale) the first child of the nonagenarian.
It was a display of love by the family led by the wife of the celebrant, Pastor(Mrs) Marian Alale who was also beaming with smiles as her husband was being celebrated.
Speaking with newsmen, the wife, Pastor(Mrs) Marian Alale described her husband as a lover of peace and good father to their children.
Narrating how they met, Mama Alale said their marriage was actually ordained in heaven, noting that they had always been conscious of their existence by showing love at all times.
Similarly, a Son-in-law to the nonagenarian who could be described as a direct son of the celebrant, Barrister C.K Ojo said Pa Rufus has always shown love not only physically but by also helping him and all that come across him financially.
Barrister Ojo who is the current Chairman of Ose Local Government Area prayed for more good years in good health and peace of mind for the celebrant.
Similarly, the first child of the celebrant, Mrs Oluwatoyin Ojo said the children are lucky to have Pa Rufus Alale as their father and assured that they would keep making him happy all the days of his life.
In his remarks, the celebrant said he had always hope in God for good things of life and had never been disappointed.
He narrated how he worked in various stations as a public servant in Ibadan, Akure and the rest before he bid the public service farewell after 35 years of meritorious service.
Pa Rufus Alale retired as a public servant in the Ondo State ministry of Lands and Housing where his records remain a reference point in terms of diligence, hard work, honesty and and efficient service delivery.
