It was about few minutes to 7.00pm on the first Sunday of September and a special stand was being erected outside the Shores Club located by Oluniyi junction on Victoria Island in Lagos State.
The beautifully decorated stand was being put in place by agents of an organisation based in Kentucky that is involved in aggressive promotion of a drink, ‘Wild Turkey’.
Naijaparrots gathered that the promoters actually picked the Lagos rising club due to its level of patronage by big boys in the commercial capital of the country as well as fun-seekers from outside the country.

Couple of minutes later, various types of musical instruments began to roll in as the electrical engineers began to embark on connections that would merge the voices with the strings and notes.
It was the September edition of ‘BOLD NIGHTS’ as part of the unique contributions of Shores Club to Lagos nightlife.
Just as the staff of the club including an expatriate, Elie were strategizing to have a hitch-free event, the CEO and a Lagos big boy, Mr. Dele Philips did not leave any stone unturned.
By 9.00pm, the strings began to dictate the pace as the guitarists and drummers set the tone propelled by Empathy Band.

By this time, different brands of automobile had started making use of the parking space manned by security agents while fun-lovers both male and female began to occupy the ground floor as well as the first floor.

The club’s menu was a great attraction of intercontinental dishes while the drinks collection was adequate for any global gathering.
The live band kept entertaining in a unique way as the lead microphone moved from one hand to the other as various hit-songs were rendered to the admiration of the gathering.

“What a very interesting outing we had here and I must say, authorities of Shores Club are wonderful”, according to Felix, a first timer.
In a chat with the CEO of Shores Club, Mr. Dele Philips, he said all required processes have been put in place to justify the confidence Lagos fun-seekers have in the organization.

In his words, “we engaged globally recognised professionals as well as well trained Nigeria-based who have been complimenting our efforts to make Lagos nightlife thicker and more attractive to our people here and guys abroad when they are around”.
“If you look around, you would realise that a major extension of the structures has been carried out to accommodate more guests as we record increase in the number of fun-lovers all the time”, Dele Philips said.
Apart from bold nights, other events held at Shores Club include Ladies Night, Weed Wednesday, Silent Disco where each person is given head phone to listen while the hall is devoid of any noise.
The Silent Disco is another innovation which has held the second time in the club.
According to Prince Kehinde Adejugbe, the first time he witnessed that was about twenty years ago in London.
