…As OyinAroloye Gender Empowerment initiative empowers 100 widows
A Serial Entrepreneur and Philanthropist, Olori Oyinkansola Aroloye has put smiles on the faces of Widows across the state through her OyinAroloye Gender Empowerment initiative
The program which covered no fewer than one hundred widows across the eighteen local government areas of the state and was well attended and graced by government officials including the serving and former Commissioners in the state.
Current and past aides of the governor were not left out gracing the epoch making event.
The programme featured lectures and trainings on soap- making, Sobo production and best way to handle their health.
The training according to one of the beneficiaries, Mrs Biola Ayenetan said the training will help her turning the money to wealth and promised that ,come next few months , she would have been self reliance and do reasonably well with the monitory gift awarded her by the Convener, Olori Oyinkansola Aroloye
” I sincerely appreciate the initiative of the Convener over the lecture and the training which will go a long way in assisting the widows,most especially someone like me and will reduce dependency ratio”
However, the lecturer at the event, Mrs Jane Aina , a broadcast journalist said the lecture became necessary so that the women will know how to convert the money and the training acquired to wealth.

Speaking at the event , the former Commissioner for Regional Integration, Prince Boye Ologbese appreciated the gesture and the initiative of the Convener , saying it’s a very nice and welcoming development
One of the beneficiaries of the event, Evangelist Chief Mrs Amure applauded the donor and the Convener for assisting the widows
Prince Aroloye, the husband and supporter of the initiative said passion for help drives him and his wife to assist the less privileged including the widows ,the aged and the indigents so as not to be waiting for their children , friends or relatives before they eat ,so the essence is to effectively assist the needy
” no doubt about the fact that , I and my wife have passion for helping others , infact my wife’s zeal supercedes mine in that regards”
anything she is doing,I found it more convenient joining hands with her in achieving this great success for the masses and the common- people on the streets” Prince Aroloye said
The Convener , Olori Oyinkansola said she derived joy assisting people and prayed God to keep providing for her to keep blessing the Widows and the needy in the society
Therefore urged the rich to assist those around them for the betterment of the society
” I can’t hide my feelings today giving glory to God almighty who has permitted me the grace in helping the needy and the widows”
“it gives me a great pleasure having our old mothers and widows here to attend the trainings on Sobo production and soap making”
” I know God has used me to better their lots in my own little way ” Olori Oyinkansola Aroloye said.
The programme was held on Thursday 14th August,2025 at it’s office ,along Fanibi road , beside Winners College and said to be an annual event which has impacted massively.
