Dr Seun Osamaye has expressed gratitude to God Almighty for her Nomination as a Commissioner Designate by the state Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
She also thanked Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for elevating her from a special Adviser To a commissioner.
She appreciated him for his trust and confidence and pledged her loyalty and support to him and his administration.
Until her nomination as Commissioner, Osamaye serves as Special Adviser To the Governor on Women Affairs.

Profile of Seun Bosede Osamaye Ph.D
Dr Seun Bosede Osamaye FCISM FAFUED is a distinguished academic and trailblazer in the field of education, Management, and Strategic Studies, social-political and Community development, and philanthropic endeavors. She is a gender Advocate and an esteemed educationist who has taught at various educational levels for almost two decades. She has attained a work-life balance through a successful career, family, and socio-political life. Seun started her lecturing career in the department of English at Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo, after graduating as the best Student in her class. She was loved by all students and staff.
She has also made huge impacts in the political landscape of the country at a young age. In 2019, she was the Coordinator of the Small Allhaji Campaign Organisation, a successful campaign that led to the emergence of Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye as a member of the House of Representatives for ldanre/lfedore federal constituency of Ondo State in the 9th Assembly.
Dr Seun Osamaye recently bagged a Ph.D in English Language from Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
She equally holds a Master of Arts degree in English Language from the great Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Osun State, and she is a proud graduate of Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo State, for her B. A (ED) English 2nd class upper and NCE in the College of Education, Ikere Ekiti, now Ekiti State University of Education.
She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Information and Strategy Management (FCISM), A fellow of Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Honoris Causa) in Communication and Strategic Management from Prowess University, Delaware,

Seun Bosede Osamaye is a gender advocate who served between 2019 and 2023 as the Senior Legislative Aide on Gender Equality to Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila(Fmr Speaker, 9th House Of Representatives and currently the Chief of Staff to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu) where she worked with other senior colleagues on areas that center on promoting gender equality rights and awareness, ensuring domestication and implementation of the VAPP Act especially as it addresses Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV), facilitating gender-friendly programs, and partnering with Gender-Based Civil Society Groups committed to the cause of women and the general well-being of the girl-child in Nigeria.
Seun since 2019 as part of her humanitarian gestures began a yearly empowerment program tagged “Give back a portion” which has seen her donate empowerment materials such as a car, a motorcycle, cash gifts, food items, household items, grinding machines and so many other items to indigent women, youths and less privileged in Ifedore Local Government area of Ondo State. On May 30, 2021.
Seun was honored with the Young Women of the Decade Award by TRACE News Magazine.
Seun Bosede Osamaye is one of the few young women in the APC who contributed tremendously to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s emergence as president through diligent discharge of duties and responsibilities assigned to her.
She served as National President of the Progressive Young women forum between July, 2021 and June, 2023, she was first appointed as the interim National President of all young women in APC by The APC CECPC Women Rep, Hon Stella Okotete under Gov Mai Mala Buni’s Chairmanship and leadership and later confirmed by The APC National Women Leader Dr Betta Edu in July 2022 and also worked with her as Special Adviser, Political between July, 2022 and February, 2023.
Seun, as an election management expert and a data analyst who is currently the National Coordinator of the Progressive Change Agents Initiative (PCAI), an Election intelligence gathering group with over 10,000 field officers, contributed immensely to the 2023 election Victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Seun recently became an Icon of humanitarianism and philanthropy after building and donating a 200-Capacity Ultra Modern Faculty library to her Alma Mater, commissioned in the second week of December 2023, despite her meagre income.
She also recently bagged the Chronicle Magazine Leadership and Philanthropic Award in March 2024, Award of Honour and leadership by Nigeria Female Students Association (NFSAN) Ondo State Chapter, March 2024
and the 100 Most Influential Progressives Award by The Progressives Magazine, April 2024.
She was appointed as the Special Adviser, Women Affairs To The Governor of Ondo State in June 2024 and was later reappointed as Special Adviser, Women in February 2025.
Since her Appointment as Special Adviser on Women Affairs to the Governor of Ondo State, Her Pet Project, O’datiwa Women Initiatives has served as a platform for Ondo State Women to be nurtured and empowered by the Governor of Ondo State.
Dr. Bosede Osamaye has been promoting gender equality and addressing issues related to women’s welfare.
Dr. Osamaye’s work focuses on creating opportunities and improving the status of women within and outside Ondo State through platforms such as the Odatiwa Women’s Initiative and the Progressive Change Agents Initiative.
She aims to empower women by providing access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities.
Her role also involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the implementation of policies that benefit women, particularly in areas of Empowerment, entrepreneurship, education, and women with disabilities.
Dr Seun Osamaye is happily married to Mr Oladotun Emmanuel Osamaye and they are both blessed with children.
