A Senatorial hopeful in Ondo North Senatorial Election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Alex Ajipe has assured that he would appoint one hundred and twenty special assistants when voted into the red chambers come 2023.
Chief Ajipe who was speaking with newsmen in Akure said the move would consolidate his efforts at ensuring that the youths are carried along in political representation as well as equipping them with components of governance.
The business mogul emphasized that his personal outfits in Ondo State have been able to engage hundreds of youths who are today making waves in their various callings.
Ajipe noted that he had always been part of the progressive move even when he was be part of the youths pasting posters in support of aspirants as well as candidates in Alliance for Democracy, Action Congress, Action Congress of Nigeria and even All Progressives Congress.
The senatorial aspirant stressed that he had always contributed to the economy of the state, not only by paying his tax to the state government but also in terms of socio-economic development.
The Chairman of “Ibi Giga Ambassadors” expressed his determination to make a difference as a senator by ensuring that Ikare-Akoko regain its status as an economic hub, not only in Ondo State but also as a rescue commercial center for neighbouring states.
He added that his emergence as a senator would play significant roles in effecting the long-time dream of both youths and the elderly towards benefitting from national programmes and policies that are capable of imparting positively on the land and the people.
Ajipe called on party leaders and youths in the six local government areas in the northern senatorial district to avoid sentiments while pitching their tents with any aspirant, assuring that structures and processes have been put in place to ensuring adequate and qualitative representation.
The senatorial hopeful maintained that he remains the most qualified, considering his involvement in various programmes and policies that had been beneficial to the people.
