

The aspiration of leading contestant for house of representatives seat for Ekiti Central Federal Constituency Two on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Dele Philips has continued to receive a boost as a chieftain of the party has urged delegates in the area to pitch their tent with the international business mogul.
This time, the Director of Administration of Dele Philips Foundation, Chief Ebenezer Adebusuyi who spoke with Naijaparrots in Ado-Ekiti said the various contributions of the aspirant to the success of the party as well as individuals are pointers to the degree of representation people would witness when he eventually gets to the National Assembly.

According to him, Dele Philips Foundation has been making lives more bearable for the youths, the elderly, communities bas well as the APC in Ekiti State.
Adebusuyi stressed that Mr. Dele Philips in his personal capacity renovated the party secretariat at Aramoko-Ekiti and tastefully furnished the building while similar effort was achieved at Ijero-Ekiti party secretariat.
“In Efon, a building was purchased, reconstructed and also tastefully furnished”, he said.


“Apart from all these, Mr. Dele Philips empowered three women from each of the thirty-three wards, making the total ninety-three in the Central Federal Constituency Two”, Adebusuyi explained.
He said the aspirant equally purchased a bus for the party at the state level while the aspiration of the party’s candidate in the forthcoming governorship election was boosted with provision of five Toyota Sienna campaign Vehicles.




According to the APC chieftain, no fewer than eighty students are currently being financed by Dele Phillips Foundation in various primary and secondary schools across the constituency.


“In terms of community development, the bridge linking a part of Ido-Ile with other quarters was constructed. For many years, the people have been praying that one day, help will come and to God be the glory Dele Philips Foundation came to their rescue” Adebusuyi stressed.
The APC chieftain therefore urged delegates in the area to consider the impact Mr. Dele Philips would have when given the opportunity to operate with constitutional provisions at the National Assembly.
Reacting to this development in a phone chat, the house of representatives hopeful, Mr. Dele Philips said it had been a dream that he would contribute his quota to both human and societal development.

He maintained that government alone could not attend to all challenges being faced by the people, hence the need for non-governmental organisations to complement government efforts.





“I assure our people that structures have been put in place to ensure that they are touched by our programmes while delegates would be seen as shareholders and stakeholders in the party”, Phillips added.
