IFEDORE ADC CANDIDATE MAKES LAST- MINUTE MOVES AS LABOUR PARTY CHIEFTAINS COLLAPSE STRUCTURE FOR ADC
The Candidate of the African Democratic Congress for the Ifedore Constituency in the Ondo State House of Assembly, Prince Lateef Olofinyokun has again expressed confidence of winning the elections slated for Saturday.
Olofinyokun who was speaking with newsmen after making last minute Campaigns to Igbara-Oke, Ilara-Mokin, Ibule, Ipogun, Ijare and Isarun in the council area said the level of support received from the residents are great encouragement for him and his team.
The grassroots politician and mobiliser said the people have always been enthusiastic since he began the journey to represent them at the hallowed chambers.
Olofinyokun debunked the rumours making the rounds that he had withdrawn from the race, describing the development as handiwork of his opponents who are already apprehensive of the high level of support being received in the nooks and crannies of the area.
“Can anyone with the wide acceptability we have been enjoying across the various towns and villages ever think of withdrawing from the race? Everyone who has witnessed our outing would conclude that our chances are very high”, the Assembly hopeful wondered.
Olofinyokun assured the electorate especially his numerous supporters that various campaign promises made to them would be fulfilled appropriately.
It was also a boost for his campaign and candidacy as Labour Party chieftains collapsed their political structures in support of the African Democratic Congress.
According to the spokesman of the group, Mr. Damilola Ibrahim, their decision was based on the reality that Olofinyokun has a high degree of commitment to both societal and human development.
