
IFEDORE GRASSROOTS POLITICIAN SAMUEL AJAYI URGES ACTIVE PARTICIPATION IN INEC CVR
A grassroots politician from Ifedore local government area, Samuel Àjàyí has sensitized eligible voters in Ondo State to participate actively in the ongoing INEC continuous voters registration.
According to The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Ondo State, a total of 295,856 Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) are yet to be collected in the state, ahead of the commencement of a fresh Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise.
The CVR exercise is scheduled to begin with an online pre-registration on August 18, 2025, while physical, in-person registration has commenced on August 25, 2025 across the eighteen local government areas of Ondo State including, the state office in Alagbaka, Akure
Mr. Ajayi said the objective of the exercise is to provide opportunities for citizens who have just attained the age of 18 and others who are eligible to register.
He encouraged residents to take the advantage of the window to register, update their information and collect their PVC.
He emphasized that their voter cards remain the weapon through which they can decide who will govern them.
