ILAJE, OKITIPUPA TRADITIONAL RULERS COMMEND AIYEDATIWA’S DEVELOPMENTAL STRIDES, PROMISE MASSIVE SUPPORT
Traditional rulers in Okitipupa and Ilaje local government areas in the South Senatorial district of Ondo State have commended the leadership qualities of governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa which is transforming every sector of the state’s economy.
The Monarch at separate meetings with the newly appointed Senior Special Assistant to Governor Aiyedatiwa on Community Development, (South), Hon. Alex Gbologe in Okitipupa and Igbokoda applauded the policy thrust of the present administration, “Our Ease”, describing it as game changer.
While seeking more government attention in the areas, the royal fathers lauded efforts at making the Araromi deep sea port a reality and the power supply projects and applauded the recent car gift from the governor for all traditional rulers in the state.
They also pointed to the refinery project and the Okitipupa / Igbokoda dual carriage way as well as the Ebute Ipare rural road construction under RAAMP as life impacting projects.
The royal fathers while pledging more support for the Aiyedatiwa administration especially in thea area of enhancing the security architecture of the senatorial district, noted the need for more collaborative efforts.
The traditional rulers described the appointment of Hon. Gbologe by the governor as a round peg in a round hole and pledged their support and cooperation.
Hon. Alex Gbologe who appreciated the royal fathers for attending the meetings and their commitments to develop their areas, said no community will be left out in terms of growth and development.
He described governor Aiyedatiwa as a visionary leader who has the interest of his people at heart.
The governor’ aide promised to collate all their thoughts with the aim of reaching out to the governor on the progress reports, challenges and gains.
Hon. Gbologe appealed for more support for the Aiyedatiwa administration noting the need to trust the process and the government.
In attendance include notable traditional rulers in both council areas including Oba Segun Williams Akinyomi, the Amapetu of Mahin Kingdom, Oba Temidayo Solomon Owoyele, the Onikan of Etikan Kingdom, Oba Afolabi Odidiomo, the Olu of Igbokoda, Oba Olatunji Fayemi, the Onitedo of Mahintedo Kingdom, Oba Adeoloye Olawale, the Alara of Araromi Seaside, Oba Kalejaiye Rotimi Williams, the Monehin of Obinehin Kingdom, Oba Oyetayo Ofoaye, the Alaboto of Aboto Kingdom, Oba Ademola Ogebe Akinbule, the Yasere of Oriretan Kingdom, Oba Kolawole Arowojolu, the Osowa of Ugboroko, Oba (Dr)P.O.Kalejaiye, the Odede of Igboegunrin.
From Okitipupa we had the Halu of Aye, Oba W.A Akinlade, the Jegun Idepe of Okitipupa, Oba Obatuga Adetoye, the Orungberuwa of Erinje, Oba O.F Akinmoye, the Oloto of Igbinsin -Oloto, Oba M.O Sewo, the Olu of Igodan Lisa, Oba S.J Adetuwo, the Majuwa Ilutitun -Morubodo, Oba F.O Olumoyegun, the Lurowa of Irowa, Oba M.A Ijelu, the Olubudo of Mobolorunduro Mile 49, Oba Adesumobi Oguntelure, and the Odofin of Iju-Oke, Oba A.O Oguntusin while the Rebuja of Osooro, Oba S.G Bajowa and the Lumure of Ayeka, Oba Michael Babatunde were absent with apology.
