
ILE-OLUJI AGOG AS FINAL FUNERAL CEREMONY OF MADAM VICTORIA AYOOLA AKINJEMOWO HOLDS
The location was St. George’s Primary School field at Idoma area in Ile-Oluji where family, friends and associates of a former board member of OSOPADEC, Kole Akinbolarin fondly called ‘Gangan’ by admirers gathered for the final funeral ceremony of his mother-in-law, Madam Victoria Ayoola Akinjemowo.
The event attracted political and community leaders as well as friends and members of the media profession as Hon. Kole Akinbolarin also served as Chairman of Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo local government as well as Director of News and Current Affairs Department of Ondo State RadioVIsion Corporation(OSRC).
There was much to eat and drink while a live band was on standby to add glamour to the occasion.
The roll call include the Ladegbaye of Ile-Oluji, Chief Moses Adegeye, High Chief Jomu of Bamikemo, Sunday Akinlosose, the Iya Ijo of Adekeye Memorial Anglican Church, Chief(Mrs) Comfort Edeniyi, the Iyaloja of Lipanu, Chief(Mrs) Adepoju and the Iyaloja of Eyingun, Chief(Mrs) Adeboyejo as well as High Chief Akinsawe and IleOluji/Okeigbo LG party chairman, Chief Rufus Adefulire.
Others are Chief(Mrs) Begbaji a.k.a Sijuwade, the Leader of the House in Ile-Oluji/Oke Igbo local government area, Hon. Iyabo Adefulire, former Director of Information Services at the Ondo State House of Assembly, Dr. Sehinde Fanokun, former General Manager of Breeze FM Radio Station in Akure, Sunday Ajongbolo, former Special Assistant to Governor Aiyedatiwa on Media, Kikelomo Isijola, Special Assistant to Former Senator representing Ondo South, Nicholas Tofowomo, Joseph Akinbamiji as well as media practitioners and Councillors in the local government.
In an interview, the daughter of the deceased, Mrs Ikeade Akinbolarin expressed appreciation to all those who attended the event from far and near.
Similarly, Son-in-law, Kole Akinbolarin ‘Gangan’ and his son, Segun Akinbolarin were elated that the event was a success.
