INTERIOR MINISTER, TUNJI-OJO HARPS ON SYNERGY TOWARDS ACHIEVING TINUBU’S RENEWED HOPE AGENDA
***As he leads ministry Management, Heads of Agencies to ICPC Headquarters
The Minister of Interior, Hon. Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo is intensifying efforts at ensuring a productive synergy with the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission to achieve desired goals of the renewed hope of the Tinubu administration.
This was as the Minister led a delegation of the management staff of the ministry as well as heads of various agencies under the ministry of on a visit to the headquarters of the commission in Abuja.
On the entourage included the Permanent Secretary, Comptrollers-General of Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigeria Correctional Service, Commandant -General of NSCDC and Controller-General of Federal Fire Service.
The ICPC Chairman, Dr. Musa Adamu Aliyu , SAN said the visit would bring about a much desired synergy towards ensuring that the public as well as the personnel feel the impact of the present administration in the country.
The Chairman emphasized that the commission would leave no stone unturned to key into all strategies being put in place by the ministry of interior to justify the confidence reposed in President Bola Tinubu.
Minister of Interior, Hon. Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo said his office had put in place the strategies, structures and processes that would facilitate a robust synergy.
“Nation building isn’t only about the detection or correction of crimes but also ensuring officers are equipped to deliver 100% performance that Nigerians rightly deserve as enshrined in the ‘Renewed Hope’ agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.”
The meeting focused on exploring avenues to foster synergy between the Ministry of Interior and the ICPC, recognizing the significance of leveraging and collaborating with the ICPC as a crucial layer of check and balance in our operations.
