
INT’L WOMEN’S DAY: DELE PHILIPS FOUNDATION PLEDGES MORE SUPPORT FOR EKITI WOMEN
The authorities of Dele Philips Foundation has felicitated women in Ekiti State and beyond on the occasion of this year’s International Women’s Day celebrations.
The Director of Administration of the foundation, Aare Ebenezer Adebusuyi in a statement assured that the foundation would not only sustain its support for women but also improve on it.
This, the Director of Administration said is in line with the aims and objectives of the founder, Mr. Dele Philips whose passion for human and societal development has been a reference point.
Aare Adebusuyi who also doubles as Senior Special Assistant on Internal Relations said the Dele Philips Foundation has empowered no fewer than 1,000 women in Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 2 comprising Ekiti West, Ijero and Efon local government areas of the State.
He stated that various empowerment programmes have been carried out with the basic aim of giving recognition to the role of women in shaping the homes as well as the society in general.
Aare Adebusuyi therefore assured that plans are underway to ensure that more women benefit from the empowerment programmes of the Dele Philips Foundation.
