
IWD: ONDO STATE WOMEN COMMENDS AIYEDATIWA FOR EMPOWERING 1000 LOW-INCOME EARNERS
Beneficiaries of the empowerment of 1,000 low-income women in Ondo State have commended Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for recognising them in the implementation of the “Our Ease” mantra of his administration.
The women who include petty traders, Street Sweepers and small scale business owners were speaking with newsmen shortly after receiving the cheques from the Governor as part of programmes marking the International Women’s Day.
Similarly, the Special Adviser to Governor Aiyedatiwa on Women Affairs, Dr. Seun Osamaye charged the 1,000 beneficiaries of the grants for low-income earners in the state to make judicious use of the money.
In a statement, Special Adviser, Dr. Osamaye appreciated the Governor for demonstrating the implications of the “Our Ease” mantra of his administration in the lives of the people.
She described the development as a tip of the iceberg of what to expect in the administration determined to run an all-inclusive governance.
Osamaye stated that no segment of the people would be left out irrespective of location and background or party affiliation.
In her words, “thank you Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa. Your time will continue to favour our women. We are grateful and thankful”.
