KIDNAPPERS FREE PREGNANT WOMAN, SEIZE BABY
A pregnant woman, Mrs. Dorathy Opus, who was abducted on February 7, 2025, in old Port Harcourt township, Rivers State, has been released by her kidnappers.
However, in a shocking twist, the kidnappers forcefully delivered her of the baby and took the newborn away before freeing her.
According to a statement by her relative, Doris Tam, on Facebook, Mrs. Opus was dumped at De Young roundabout, Elelewon road, in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, at around 7 pm on February 12, 2025.
The kidnapped survivor is currently receiving medical treatment at an undisclosed hospital in Port Harcourt.
The family had declared her missing after she failed to return home on February 7, and her last known location was at UPE junction, where she was waiting to board a vehicle.
The Rivers State Police Command has not issued an official statement on the incident.
