
KINGSHIP: BANKOLE ADEYEFA EMERGES ELEMURE-ELECT
Prince Bankole Adeyefa has emerged the Elemure-Elect for the vacant stool of Elemure of Emure-Ile in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Prince Bankole Adeyefa polled 4 out of 5 votes of the Kingmakers to defeat 8 other contestants for the throne.
The first class monarch stool became vacant following the demise of HRM, Oba Simeon Adedubaje Adeyefa I joined his ancestors on Tuesday, 11th March, 2025 and reigned for 23 years.
Speaking after the announcement of the selection process, Prince Bankole Adeyefa promised to improve on his father’s legacy and bring about development to the Emure-Ile Kingdom.
Prince Adeyefa commended the peaceful process of the selection process and saluted the courage of other contestants whom he described as also qualified for the throne.
“I will always strive to ensure that Emure-Ile is not left behind among the comity of developing Towns”.
He solicited absolute support from them and the entire residents of the Emure-Ile Kingdom.
“I will not take your support for granted and will always count on you”.
Other contestants for the stool are Ogunkande Oluwaseju Jacob, Omotosho Abiodun, Apogbona Oluwatobi, Adeyefa Sesan Alao, Oguntimihin Dende, Adeyefa Samuel Adedayo, Adegbola Bayowa and Ojo Adeyefa.
