KOLAWOLE BABATUNDE IS BEST MAN FOR THE JOB, DR FELIX ALE DECLARES
A media Icon and Director, Media and Corporate Communications of the National Space Research and Development Agency, Dr Felix Ale has said the successful election of Honourable Kolawole Babatunde as the Chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ondo State stands as one of the best things to have happened to the party in recent times.
In a Statement in Abuja, Dr Ale explained that the emergence of Honourable Kolawole Babatunde is a beacon of hope,a symbol of renewal and a testament to the enduring truth that leadership is best entrusted to those who combine wisdom with dynamism.
According to him,as John F.Kennedy once said, “Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other”, pointing out that Honourable Babatunde embodies this philosophy as a young man of remarkable energy, credentials,vast experience and deep political knowledge.
Dr Ale explained that the new APC Chairman has proven himself as a principal actor in both national and state politics, saying Honourable Babatunde outstanding performance as a one-time member of the Federal House of Representative remains etched in the history of his constituency and Ondo State at large.
Describing the new APC Chairman as the best man for the job in Ondo State, the celebrated Ondo State born media practitioner pointed out that Honourable Babatunde is not just a friend but a close brother in whom he is well pleased and proud.
He emphasized that the election that brought Honourable Babatunde into office is a victory for excellence, dedication and the inspiring future of the APC in Ondo State.
Dr Ale also extended heartfelt congratulations to the Executive Governor of Ondo State, Dr Lucky Aiyedatiwa on the emergence of Honourable Kolawole Babatunde, saying, without doubt, the new Chairman will be a great complement to the Governor as Babatunde is imbued with the knowledge and capacity to restore unity and sanity to the party in the Sunshine State.
The Media Scholar also commended the immediate past Chairman, Mr Ade Adetimehin for his successful tenure in office, pointing out that Adetimehin contributions remain invaluable and urge him to cooperate with his successor for the peace and progress of the party.
Dr Ale explained that the only thing permanent in life is change.
He said, as Mahatma Gandhi once positioned,” Be the change that you wish to see in the World”, adding that Change is inevitable and as human beings,we must be ready to embrace it whenever it comes.
Dr Ale also appreciated other party members who contested the Chairmanship position for their maturity and sportsmanship, emphasising that their acceptance of the verdict of the majority, their congratulations to Honourable Babatunde and their pledges of loyalty and support reflect the true spirit of democracy and unity.
