The Islamic State’s West Africa Province (ISWAP) has reportedly claimed responsibility for the attack carried out on Kuje Custodial Center in the Federal Capital Territory.
According to a report monitored on Sahara Reporters, the group released the video of its men while attacking the facility.
Over one thousand inmates were said to have been released during the attack and this include over sixty terrorists.
Some have been rearrested while reports say no fewer than 450 are still at large.
