The Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Akogun Akinwunmi Sowore has commiserated with the Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and his family over the demise of their matriarch, Evangelist Grace Abosede Akeredolu.
Sowore said the Governor and his family should be pacified by the fact that their mother lived a fulfilled life and left the stage of life when ovation was loudest.
“Mama in his words enjoyed Gods Grace and Mercy to have
given birth and raised godly and glorious children who rank shoulder high among their equals”, the commissioner said.
According to Sowore, “Mama was a great woman, a good and loving mother and a role model. Like the bibilical virtuous woman, her husband was honoured at the gates and her children called her blessed”.
” Mama Akeredolu will be greatly missed by all, but she would continue to live in the hearts of her loved ones. She left enduring legacies which should be immortalised”
” To loose a dear and beloved mother like Mama Akeredolu was painful, nevertheless, she died in christ, so she has just gone to rest, as she will be reunited with her loved ones at the feet of Jesus”, the commissioner added.
Sowore prayed for the repose of Mama’s soul and for the Holy Spirit to comfort all her loved ones.
The Commissioner had earlier paid a condolence visit to the Governor and family at their Ibadan residence.
