You make him a little lower than the Angels. You made other creatures without any interference. On the sixth day after the creation had nearly been completed and the last task is to form man, you invited the host of heaven and said “come let us made man in our own image”. This is because of the keen interest you have in man. In your image you created them male and female.
Alas man, what have you turned yourself? Greater than the angels? Immortal? No wonder, it displeased God that he created man. Full of pride, super ego, vicious, venomous and evil. Due to this, He once wiped man’s race from the face of the earth. But He chose to spare one family he considered worthy. He preserved them for procreation and existence purpose. The earth regenerated and was spread through Noah and his three sons and their wives. Shem, Ham and Japhet.
Despite the efforts God made to bring sanity to mankind and make them live according to his will and purpose, man continues to go out of the way of his maker to disappoint Him. He always proves to be wiser than his maker. The Bible says, the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. 1 Corinthians 3:19.
Because of the interest God has for man to make him and his seeds fulfil the plan he has for him, he decided to appear physically in the world to deliver humans.
Still, some are still agnostic, atheist, idoliser, infidels, pagans and unbelievers. The Bible says, he came unto his own but his own did not recieve him but as many that believe him he gave power to become his children, even those that believe in his name. John 1:11-12.
Sadly, most of the people he gave power to become his own are compromising the faith in him. That is why Jesus Christ said, shall I find faith when I return?….. It is a question no one can answer till today.
The believers who claimed to receive him are so religious rather than being true worshippers.
Most Christians are religion ritualists. How? The Bible says, faith without work is dead….. How would you say you have faith in God and you are not following his commandments. Christianity without holy life and obedience to God is mere religious exercise. It has no spiritual value. Obedience is better than sacrifice.
Church to many Christians is like a fashion centre. Doing the will of God is the basis of Christianity. No other truth than that. Even in the old testament, you are not God’s child if you don’t obey his commandments or instructions.
Why was Abram loved by God and was called a friend of God. It was due to his blind obedience.
Firstly, God told him to leave his kindred to a land he would show him. Despite not knowing his destination, he parked out of his father’s house to an unknown location. This is a total display of trust in God. This was followed by God’s promise to him to make him the father of many nations and many people would be blessed through him.
God stamped this by changing his name to Abraham. Abraham came from Shem of the generation of Noah. The most blessed root out of Noah’s seed. It was a chosen generation.
This was transformed to make the people of God and the lineage and genealogy of believers. God derived joy in nursing this generation of people whom he chosed out of the heathen world. Don’t forget that God created all mankind but he was not pleased with their general attitude. The Bible says, all the thoughts of man are evil continuously.
Therefore, it displeased God that he made man. Genesis.
The seed of Abraham formed the holy generation. The holy generation also disappointed God. Despite that God usually appoint spiritual leaders to lead and guide them in other not to go astray, they still revolted and disobeyed God on countless occasions, standing against his will.
Men were totally lost to waywardness and disobedience to God. They did not reckon with Him and only a few were loyal to Him.
What is man that God still reckons with him?
It took God a thoughtful while before He could decide what He could do to save the situation of mankind.
God decided to come down by sending His word to the world. Jesus Christ came as the only begotten son. God the son. The Messiah. Through him, mankind was refurbished. There was a rebirth. The holy generation was made afresh through his blood. Because he sacrificed his life by shedding his blood on the cross for the remission of the sins of many.
And to destroy the works of the devil who is the generational adversary of mankind. 1 John 3:18.
Jesus Christ worked for the salvation of all and the future of mankind was renewed in his love for all.
However, mankind seems to be in danger of losing the bright opportunity being offered to them through the blood of Jesus Christ.
The heart of man.
What makes the heart of man to be evil? Who makes the heart of man to be against his maker and saviour? The Bible says, the devil is seeking whom to devour. He has been at it since in the garden of Eden and until now. He makes man the enemy of his maker. Turning the heart of man against God.
The church of God has lost the mission and the vision seem bleak for many Christians. Why is the church keep growing and not reflecting positively on the society? Why is morals and virtues keep reducing despite the increasing number of Christians and churches?
It is simple. The mission is lost from many leaders of the church thus making many to be following the lost path and very few ones seem to be showing them the right direction while many wolves in sheep’s clothing keep leading them astray.
Even those perceived to be saints have joined the crowd to make the unbelievers stranded. Faith is fading away. Why are the wolves in sheep’s clothing higher in number than the sheep? The Bible says without faith, it is impossible to please God. Wolves keep increasing because there is lack of faith.
Jesus Christ preached repentance and that the kingdom of God is at hand. Matthew 4:23. It implies that people should repent from their sinful ways because death is near.
Behold, men has turned against God once again. Despite the sacrifice God made by himself. God loves all but few are chosen. The pleasure of this world is the major instrument the devil is using against the church.
The church are God’s people, the holy generation. They should not belong to the world. What you can find in God is treasure and not pleasure. The worldly pleasure is not in the light of God. People love darkness than light. They love lies than truth. They love sins than holiness. They love evil than good. What makes the world to be wicked if not man.
