MEDIA ICON, DR FELIX ALE DESCRIBES TAIWO FASORANTI AS PARAGON OF EXCELLENCE AND BEST FOR ONDO CENTRAL SENATORIAL RACE
A very distinguished media Scholar and Former Chief Press Secretary in Ondo State, Dr Felix Ale has received with great admiration the decision of Dr.Taiwo Fasoranti to run for the Senate in the Central Senatorial District in the coming general elections.
In a Press Statement issued in Lagos, the Media Icon described Dr Taiwo Fasoranti as a very talented and unique man of excellence, saying the immediate past Secretary to the Ondo State Government is a distinguished medical practitioner with a proven record of leadership and the best for the job.
According to him, Dr Fasoranti is indeed a paragon of inspiration and a great man with heritage and passion for the good of the people.
Fasoranti candidacy, he maintained is not only welcome but deeply inspiring, as it promises to bring purposeful representation and landmark achievements to the Central Senatorial district in Ondo State.
Dr Ale reaffirmed his endorsement for the aspirant, especially in recognition of the great and historic roles played by his father, the highly revered Afenifere leader, Pa Rueben Fasoranti in the developmental history of Akure, Ondo State and Nigeria at large.
He said, any product of Pa Rueben Fasoranti deserves automatic support from the people, for the elder statesman has not only paid his dues but has always stood for truth, justice and the welfare of the masses.
The former Chief Press Secretary recalled that as someone who began his journalism career in Ondo State, he can testify to Pa Fasoranti’s integrity and courage, saying during the most challenging moments of the military rule,Pa Fasoranti’s house and office at Omolere Nursery and Primary School were always open for interviews with the Press where the elder statesman spoke the truth for the overall benefit of the people and greatness of our dear nation.
“At the critical moment of asset-sharing crisis between Ondo and Ekiti following the creation of Ekiti State, Pa Fasoranti’s wise counsel helped to douse tension and restore sanity while on national issues, particularly during the transition to civil rule, Pa Fasoranti never shied away from standing on the side of the truth and the poor masses”.
“There is no significant milestone in Akure, Ondo State and Nigeria in the past and recent times that Pa Reuben Fasoranti has not played a role or prominently featured”.
Dr Ale explained that one thing about Pa Rueben Fasoranti is that ,he has always thought more about what he could do to benefit others and society at large than himself, noting that his children would have long dominated the political scene like some of his contemporaries in the country.
Dr Ale recalled with nostalgia that when Pa Fasoranti had the opportunity to naturally ascend a political position through consensus, he declined and was never selfish to replace himself with any of his children, thereby paving the way for others to emerge.
He explained that the kind of Pa Reuben Fasoranti are rare and his great virtues must be revered, saying that reverence must now be extended to his very disciplined and amiable children, particularly in a time like this when Dr Taiwo Fasoranti has stepped forward to serve in the Senate.
Dr Ale maintained that Pa Reuben Fasoranti’s life has always been defined by sacrifice, truth and service, saying that selflessness is the foundation upon which Dr Taiwo Fasoranti now stands.
According to him,Dr Taiwo Fasoranti’s decision to run is not about personal ambition but a strategy to carry forward a legacy of integrity, courage, and devotion to the people.
Dr Ale therefore emphasized “that if today, Pa Reuben Fasoranti’s biological son, one of the finest in Akure and the Sunshine State, Dr Taiwo Fasoranti has chosen to run for the Senate in Ondo Central, then the onus is now on all of us, particularly the people of the Central Senatorial District to rise in honor of Pa Fasoranti and give Dr Taiwo Fasoranti maximum support in the realization of his dream”.
The media Icon pointed out that, supporting Dr Taiwo Fasoranti is not only an endorsement of his vision but also a tribute to the values of his father,whose contributions to Ondo State and Nigeria remain indelible”.
Dr Ale expressed optimism that the performance of Dr Taiwo Fasoranti, if elected, will be unprecedented in the history of the Ondo Central Senatorial district.
He said, with the calibre of the credible candidate, there are better days ahead for the Ondo Central Senatorial District as Dr Taiwo Fasoranti Candidacy is a beacon of hope, a continuation of a legacy of truth and service, and a promise of progress for the people.
