
MORE ELDERLY, VULNERABLE BENEFIT FROM AIYEDATIWA’S FREE MEDICAL OUTREACH
…As Ibule traditional and community leaders commend Governor Aiyedatiwa for accessing the free healthcare
Residents of Ibule-soro in Ifedore local government area of Ondo State trooped out on Sunday to benefit from the Free Medical Mission being carried out by the Aiyedatiwa-led administration.
The elderly, the aged as well as the vulnerable in the area gathered at the Ibule Town Hall and arrived into the waiting hands of the health officials.
Despite that the hall was filled to the brim, the health officials attended to them in orderly manner.
The Olubule of Ibule ably represented by Chairman of Community Health Committee, Chief James Jaiyeoba who also doubles as the Asae of Ibule Kingdom and Community Woman Leader, Chief Mrs Victoria Olayiwola, the Eyeule Obinrin of the Kingdom expressed gratitude to the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for ensuring access to free medical care.
The traditional and community leaders said the Free Medical Outreach is not only timely but also a welcome development.
Speaking with newsmen on the development, Special Adviser to Governor Aiyedatiwa on Women Affairs, Dr. Seun Osamaye said the Free Medical Outreach was put in place by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa to enable the elderly and the vulnerable in the rural areas to benefit from the health programmes of the present administration.
Osamaye emphasized that the medical outreach is also part of the determination of the Aiyedatiwa administration to ensure that no segment of the society is neglected.
She stressed that the government would keep prioritising inclusivity.
The Free Medical Outreach began on Saturday and it’s being carried out by the Ministry of Women Affairs in collaboration with the Ministry of Health.
