MUYIWA ADU PROMISES CONTINUOUS SUPPORT FOR ODA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
…As Regent leads community leaders on Thank-You visit to APC Chieftain for timely pledge redemption
The Regent of Olojoda of Oda in Akure South local government area of Ondo State has led some chiefs of the community to pay a Thank-You visit to Dr (Barr) Olumuyiwa Adu a.k.a Cubana in his country home in Akure to express gratitude for fulfilling his earlier pledge of assistance to the ancient community.
The APC Chieftain who served as the Deputy Director-General of Ondo Central had promised 5 Million naira as a take-off fund for the construction of a modern palace during the electioneering tour of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and his campaign team to Oda Ward 6, Akure South before the last gubernatorial election.
While appreciating the renowned philanthropist for the timely redemption of his pledge, the community also lauded his humanitarian interventions across the state in harmony with the efforts of Ondo State government.
In his response, Dr Olumuyiwa Adu thanked his august visitors and promised them continuous commitment and support towards construction of the new palace and overall development of Oda town.
He further urged all well meaning individuals to join hands with the government to promote development in their respective domains as the task of building a decent society is a collective responsibility.
Dr. Adu further charged the visiting team to always remember President Bola Tinubu and his government, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the State Government, Akure speaking communities and the good people of Ondo State in their prayers.
Advising the electorate on the forthcoming local government election, Dr Adu said, “Giving APC government total support will make them enjoy more dividends of democracy”.
