NASRDA BOSS HAILS CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR, FELIX ALE OVER AWARD OF RECOGNITION BY NUJ

The Director General of the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), Dr Matthew Adepoju, has hailed the Director, Media and Corporate Communications, Dr Felix Ale for his high level of professionalism, describing him as a paragon of excellence and pride to members of Nigeria Union of Journalists.
The NASRDA Boss made the remarks at the top management gathering to felicitate with Dr Ale and re-presenting the Most Distinguished Media Personality of the Decade award, conferred on him by the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ondo State Council, at the Agency’s headquarters in Abuja.
The Director General commended Dr. Ale’s consistent approach to professional excellence, noting that such a prestigious recognition from the journalism body underscores his high level of professionalism, particularly his enviable track records as a pioneer in the field of Space Journalism in Nigeria.
Dr Adepoju described the award as well deserved, saying he was not surprised after all because the NASRDA Spokesperson was the first to win the Agency’s prestigious Best and outstanding Staff Award while under his leadership,the Media and Corporate Communications Department also emerged as winner of the 2025 Best and outstanding Department of the Year in the Space Agency.
Dr. Adepoju added that the Agency’s work does not go unnoticed, emphasizing that the efforts, achievements, and initiatives being undertaken within NASRDA are closely observed and appreciated by stakeholders beyond its walls.
The NASRDA boss further stated that with sustained dedication, innovation, and collective effort, NASRDA is poised to expand its reach and impact, steadily taking ground in national and international space research and development.
The Director General while thanking the leadership of Ondo State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists expressed immense pride in Dr. Ale’s achievement and urged him not to relent but to continue putting in his best for the Agency and the profession.
In his response, Dr. Ale expressed gratitude to the Ondo State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists for considering him worthy of the honor.
He noted that he has been privileged to receive numerous awards both within and outside Nigeria in recent times, saying, this particular recognition was especially significant to him because it came from a professional body he proudly belongs.
Dr Ale appreciated the NASRDA Director General for his exemplary leadership and mentorship to the entire management and staff of the Agency.
The NASRDA Spokesperson there after dedicated the award to the entire members of the Media and Corporate Communication Department at the headquarters,Centre of excellence and laboratories of NASRDA as well as to the good leadership of the Director General,noting that Dr Adepoju remain a source of inspiration while his guidance, vision, and support have created a conducive environment for professional growth and excellence in the Agency.
The highlight of the event was the symbolic re-presentation of the award and medal by the Director General to Dr. Ale, a gesture that underscored the Director General’s admiration for Ale’s exceptional contributions and achievement to the admiration of the top management staff of the Space Agency.
