NASRDA SSDC REITERATES STAND TO UPHOLD DISCIPLINE AMONG STAFF
The Chairman, Senior Staff Disciplinary Committee of the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), Dr. Felix Ale, has emphasized that discipline remains the bedrock upon which any effective organization can successfully actualize its mandate for the overall benefit of the system.
He made this statement during the 2026 maiden NASRDA Senior Staff Disciplinary Committee meeting held at the Agency’s headquarters in Abuja.
Dr. Ale who is also the Director, Media and Corporate Communication explained that discipline is fundamental to the growth, integrity, and overall success of the Agency, adding that as members of staff, it is a responsibility that must be binding on all and sundry.
According to him, maintaining high standards of conduct is essential to fostering a productive and professional work environment.
Dr. Ale also disclosed that the Director General and Chief Executive, NASRDA, Dr Matthew Adepoju, has mandated the Committee to uphold strict standards and has instituted a zero-tolerance policy towards indiscipline within the Agency.
He commended members of the Committee for their dedication and diligence, stating that the Director General is pleased with their efforts and performance.
While appreciating the Committee members for their commitment, Dr. Ale equally expressed gratitude to the Director General for his continuous support, which has ensured the smooth and effective functioning of the Committee.
Speaking earlier, the Director of Human Resources Management, Mrs. Lami Fadiora, highlighted the significant role of the Committee in promoting social responsibility amongst staff members.
She explained that the Committee serves as a guiding force, to ensure that members of staff consistently do the right thing and uphold the values and standards of the Agency.
Mrs. Fadiora further pointed that, beyond its disciplinary responsibilities, the Committee also plays an advisory and corrective role, providing guidance where necessary, to support staff in maintaining professionalism and ethical conduct.
