
NATIONAL POPULATION COMMISSION TO PARTNER ONDO VARSITY TOWARDS ENSURING DATA ACCURACY

The National Population Commission is forging ahead in its bid to work with all relevant stakeholders towards generating accurate data for the country.
It is not only about data accuracy but also ensuring that the process of carrying out all registrations handled by the commission is made less cumbersome to Nigerians.
This was observed during the familiarisation visit of the Honourable Federal Commissioner in Ondo State, Mrs Kemi Iyantan to the management of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko.
The Federal Commissioner who was accompanied by the management of the commission in Ondo State said the office is working towards ensuring that accurate data is generated to key into the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu.
Mrs Kemi Iyantan notified the Vice Chancellor of the plan to partner with the University as part of plans to ensure smooth registration of both students and staff in line with the vision and mission of the National Population Commission.
In his reaction, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Olugbenga Ige appreciated the Federal Commissioner for her thoughtfulness to partner relevant stakeholders in achieving the set targets of the commission.
This, Prof Ige said would go a long way in assisting the present administration led by President Bola Tinubu to deliver on his electioneering promises to the people.
He assured that the university authority would play it’s part in the process of achieving a new Nigeria.
