Permanent secretaries of government ministries and pararastatals have been directed to inform civil servants to close from office at 1.00pm on Tuesday in Abuja, the seat of power.
This is to enable them give maximum support to the Super Eagles in a return match with the black stars of Ghana.
The directive was contained in a press release signed by the Director of welfare, Federal civil service commission, Ngozi Onwudiwe.
The directive was given to enable civil servants to mobilise support for the Super Eagles.
