Obangame: Navy arrests seven suspected oil thieves, vessels

The Nigerian Navy has arrested seven Beninoise conveying huge quantity of substance suspected to be illegally refined diesel in the ongoing Obangame exercise 2022.
The Navy also arrested two vessels.
The arrests were made on Nigerian territorial waters along the Gulf of Guinea on Monday .
The Beninoise were apprehended around 7pm in a long wooden boat fully laden with the products.
The two vessels were also said to be fully loaded with stolen petroleum products.
