
‘O’DATIWA WOMEN INITIATIVES’ HOLDS CAMPUS OUTREACH AT COLLEGE OF HEALTH TECHNOLOGY, AKURE
***As Aiyedatiwa’s Aide, Osamaye donates Computer Sets while SSA on Community Engagement promises Lecture Theatre Chairs

The O’Datiwa Women Initiatives has taken it’s female engagement programmes to College of Health Technology in Akure the Ondo State capital.
The programme being spearheaded by the Special Adviser to Governor Aiyedatiwa on Women Affairs, Dr.(Mrs) Seun Osamaye is aimed at ensuring that issues affecting females are given utmost attention.
The edition held at the College of Health Technology in the state capital was another opportunity for the Special Adviser and other stakeholders in attendance to interact with the students towards having first-hand information about their existence.
It featured engagement with female students, health talk and distribution of food items.
The special adviser, Dr. Seun Osamaye the state governor has put in place all the required structures to ensure that no segment of the society is left out of the development efforts of the present administration.
Osamaye called on the hosts to take advantage of the communication channels created by government to access various interventionist programmes being created by the Aiyedatiwa-led administration.
The governor’s aide and her team promised to donate two sets of desktop Computers for their use as a way of completing the efforts of Governor Aiyedatiwa at creating conducive teaching and learning environment in the tertiary institution.
Similarly, the Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Community Engagement in the central senatorial district, Hon Femi Fadairo analysed the various implications of supporting the government, noting that the state government prioritises their welfare.
Fadairo also promised to donate 100 Lecture theatre chairs in different batches to the hosts as a way of contributing to developmental efforts of the state government in the college.
The Provost of the College, Dr. Oluwambe Oluwole Emoruwa appreciated the visit and assured that programmes that the authorities are also working towards justifying the commitment of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa to the development of the tertiary institution.
In her speech, the Chairperson of National Female Students Association of Nigeria (NFSAN) Ondo state chapter, Mary Oluwatunmise Ayeyemi commended the outreach which she said was a great opportunity to interact with the government officials.
“Every aspect of this programme is important.The health talk thas added a great value to us and people we would come across.”
This shows that the Aiyedatiwa-led administration wants the target population to be in good health.”
“What has been done here today is also a means of encouraging healthy lifestyle, and not just only about distribution of foodstuffs.”
And to the VP, Feyishipo Omoseeke Abimbola, the team had shown that they think more about the people when taking decisions, expressing the hope that more of such would be carried out.
The event provided a platform for robust engagement between representatives of O’Datiwa Women Initiatives and government officials which the female students described as timely.
