OLUBAKA OF OKA COMMENDED AS ONE OF HISTORY’S MOST REMARKABLE ROYAL FATHERS
An Oka-Akoko-born Media Practitioner and Director, Media and Corporate Communications of the National Space Research and Development Agency, Dr Felix Ale has described Olubaka of Oka Akoko in Akoko South West Local Area of Ondo State, Oba Yusuf Adebori Adeleye as one of the most outstanding and remarkable royal fathers in human history.
In his congratulatory message to the traditional ruler on the occasion of his participation in the 2025 IGOKE AGBA ceremony of the people of Oka Akoko, Dr Ale eulogized the sterling qualities and achievements of the royal father, saying Olubaka is a monarch whose vision, integrity and service transcend generations and whose legacy will remain indelible in the annals of time.
Dr Ale commended the royal father for his unwavering dedication, wisdom and statesmanship, pointing out that the leadership style of the traditional ruler continues to inspire confidence as well as fostering unity and promoting development in his domain.
He recalled with nostalgia the inspiring achievements of the traditional ruler during his tenure as Chairman of Ondo State Council of Obas.
According to him, Oba Adeleye provided visionary leadership and left no stone unturned at ensuring that the voice of traditional institutions remained strong in shaping policies that promote peace, development and cultural identity in the Sunshine State.
Dr Ale also recalled that as the Pioneer Chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Oba Adeleye laid a solid foundation for the University’s rise as a beacon of learning and innovation.
Dr Ale explained that Olubaka’s participation in the 2025 Igoke Agba ceremony on 29th November,2025 is a testament to his role as a custodian of heritage and a symbol of resilience.
This according to him represents the blending of tradition with progress, reminding all that leadership is not only about authority but also about service, sacrifice and the preservation of values that bind communities together.
Dr Ale emphasized that Olubaka historic participation is more than ceremonial, saying, it is profoundly symbolic of continuity, wisdom and the enduring relevance of traditional leadership in modern society.
