OLUFUNKE ADEKUNLE ASSUMES OFFICE AS ONDO NOA ACTING DIRECTOR
The Director-General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, has approved the appointment of Mrs. Olufunke Moradeyo Adekunle as the Acting State Director of the Ondo State Directorate of the National Orientation Agency (NOA).
The appointment, which takes immediate effect, marks a new phase in the leadership of the Agency in Ondo State, as Mrs. Adekunle brings on board decades of Professional experience, administrative competence, and deep institutional knowledge of the NOA administrative structure.
Mrs. Adekunle is a seasoned administrator and accountant with over 30 years of meritorious service in public service. She began her career with the defunct Mass Mobilization for Social Justice, Self-Reliance and Economic Recovery (MAMSER) in 1991, which later transformed into the National Orientation Agency. Over the years, she has diligently risen through the ranks to the position of Deputy Director.
Born in Eruwa, Oyo State, Mrs. Adekunle possesses a strong academic and professional background. She obtained a National Diploma from the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro (1988–1990) and a Higher National Diploma (HND) from the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti (1993–1994).
In furtherance of her professional development, she earned a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Financial Management in 1999 and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2005 from Ekiti State University.
According to a statement signed by the Head of Media and Communications of the Agency, Ralph Oguntibeju, her commitment to professional excellence is further demonstrated by attending the Nigeria College of Accountancy, Jos, in 2008.
She was subsequently inducted as a Certified National Accountant (CNA) in 2010.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Adekunle has served in various strategic capacities across the Agency, including postings at the National Headquarters, the Lagos State Directorate and the Ondo State Directorate, where she is now entrusted with leadership responsibility.
Her wealth of experience in public Enlightenment, Administration, and Financial management is expected to further strengthen the Agency’s mandate of value reorientation, civic education, and National integration in Ondo State.
Mrs. Adekunle is married and blessed with children. Her appointment takes immediate effect to drive National Orientation Agency’s leadership to professionalism, continuity, and effective service delivery at the state level.
