
OLUMUYIWA ADU CONGRATULATES OLOWO ON APPOINTMENT AS CHAIRMAN COUNCIL OF OBAS
..Commends ex-Chairman, the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladelusi on successful tenure
..Lauds Gov Aiyedatiwa over improved welfare and respect for traditional institution
An Akure-born politician, Dr Olumuyiwa Adu (Cubana) has sent his heartfelt congratulations to the newly appointed Chairman, Ondo State Council of Obas, the Olowo, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye II.
In a press release through his Media Council, Dr Adu stated that the new chairman is an astute monarch with requisite attributes of leadership who will not only enhance cohesion among his contemporaries but will seamlessly achieve the much-sought inter-institutional harmony within the state.
“His track records of excellence, dignity and competence and command of confidence, trust and respect as a first class king will definitely contribute practically to the development of the state”. Dr Adu affirmed.
Lauding the eventful tenure of the Deji of Akure, His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr) Aladetoyibo Ogunlade Aladelusi, Odundun Ii CFR, Dr Adu commended the Akure monarch for his maturity, dedication, selflessness in decision making and his cooperation with the democratically constituted government of His Excellency, Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
“Kabiyesi, your tenure in the last two years has achieved monumental accomplishments in the areas of welfare, elevation of traditional rulers, and resolution of age- long chieftaincy disputes and communal disharmonies through due processes”. Dr Adu stressed.
Dr Adu acknowledged Governor Aiyedatiwa’s giant strides in emplacing effective mechanisms that have been addressing contentious obaship issues without any fear or favour.
“Mr Governor’s love and respect for traditional institutions are largely responsible for this smooth transition and the present status of Ondo state traditional rulers”. Dr Adu submitted.
Dr Olumuyiwa Adu prayed for good health and more wisdom for the new chairman to make remarkable impacts as God guides his steps in his new roles.
