.. As Akure-born Philanthropist Lays Foundation Of CAC Canaan Land Hall In Akure
Dr Barrister Olumuyiwa Adu ”Cubana” has admonished christians all over the world to commit their resources to the spread of the gospel -a spiritual doctrine backed by scriptural ordinances in Proverbs 3:9.
The APC Chieftain made this admonition on Saturday at the foundation laying ceremony of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Cannan Land Hall, lafe District, Akure.
The symbolic event which took place at the church premises at Lafe, was witnessed by the leadership of the Church, invited clerics, many Christ Ambassadors, community leaders and political supporters of the Akure- born Philanthropist and Ondo Central Senatorial Aspirant.
Dr Adu has committed enormous resources to the propagation and proclamation of the ‘Good News’ as his divine mandate to contribute significantly to the spiritual rebirth of the society alongside his socio- political engagements.
Appreciating the unfailing Grace of God for his present status, and the guidance of his spiritual father, Prophet Ezekiah Oladeji, the General Evangelist of CAC, Nigeria and Overseas, Dr Adu joyously pledged his full support for the construction of the edifice.
While performing the rites, Dr Adu stated:, ” We came to the world with nothing and we will all leave with nothing except our good deeds. Our relationship with God on this earth will speak for us in the world beyond.
“We are not perfect as human beings but we should constantly strive for perfection to reflect the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ”
“If your sow bountifully, you shall reap bountifully. So, I urge all faithful to contribute sizeable portions of their resources, no matter how small, into the service of God and I can assure you that the rewards will be multiple.
“Seed sowing with humility is one of the obligations that will secure our heavenly mansions for us after the expiration of our tenure on this earth.
“My efforts are just too little to pay for my debt of gratitude for what God has done in my life. I give God all the glory.”
The pastorate and membership of the church expressed their love and gratitude to Dr Olumuyiwa Adu for his presence and remarkable collaborations with the Body of Christ locally and globally.
They prayed for his continued strength and success in his present and future endeavours.
