The Ondo Central Senatorial Hopeful on the formidable platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Barr. Olumuyiwa Adu “Cubana” has congratulated the Okiti of Iju Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Amos Adelakun Farukanmi, JP, Ajigbade I, on his 82nd birthday and 38th coronation anniversary.
In his press release from the stable of his media outlet, Dr Adu who holds the traditional chieftaincy title of Atunluse of Iju kingdom, described these double occasions as significant celebrations in the life of the respected monarch, who has sacrificed a lot of time, stamina and resources for the development of his people and kingdom, reflecting his enduring strength and selfless commitment to the communal growth and stability.
“It’s on records that during these long years of Oba Farukanmi’s remarkable reign, The Iju Kingdom has witnessed peace, progress and unity under the resourceful leadership that has served as an institution of support for the government and several other communities in Ondo State.
“His fatherly roles have been very pivotal to the improved welfare of his people, cultural promotion, peaceful coexistence of the inhabitants, unity and progress that are evident within the ancient town and Akure northern corridor, ” Dr Adu confirmed.
While celebrating the royal celebrant, Dr Adu re-established his fruitful partnership and cordial relationship with the good and decent people of Iju kingdom, and fevertly prayed for Kabiyesi’s continued good health, long life, wealth and wisdom as the king enjoys more of unstoppable God’s grace on the prestigious throne of his forebears.
