The Ondo Central Senatorial Hopeful under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Barr. Olumuyiwa Adu (Cubana) has pleaded passionately with the eligible citizens of Ondo state to partake in the ongoing continuous voters registration exercise by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The appeal came through his official release made available to the Press as the registration enters its third day.
“The cards will present the holders the unique opportunity to vote their preferred candidates and political parties at any electoral period”. Dr Adu opined.
The INEC started the online registration on Monday, August 18, 2025 through its official website:https://www.cvr.inecnigeria.org while the physical registration will commence in all INEC offices and centres in the 18 Local Government Areas of Ondo State on Monday, August 25, 2025.
Commending the efficiency of the staff of the electoral body so far, Dr Adu strongly encouraged those who just turned 18 years, lost their cards or wish to relocate to different polling locations and those whose permanent voters cards got damaged or need correction of details to take part in this crucial exercise.
Advising the electorate, Dr Adu said, “Your participation will go a long way to determine our democratic future. it is one of your fundamental rights of expression within the ambits of the law as the card is your voice”.
While reiterating his continued support for the people-centric government of Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, Dr Adu has concluded plans to collaborate with the relevant stakeholders in disseminating this vital information to the rural communities and some underserved areas within the state.
