ONDO 2024: PDP CANDIDATE, AGBOOLA AJAYI URGES MUSLIM CLERICS , FAITHFUL TO PRAY FOR ONDO STATE
The Gubernatorial Candidate of the PDP in the schedule Nov 16 election in Ondo State, H E Agboola Alfred Ajayi has urged Islamic clerics and faithfuls to pray to Allah (SWA) to help Ondo State people choose wisely in the coming Gubernatorial election in the State.
The PDP candidate made this appeal in Ondo town on Sunday where he attended this year’s convention of Islamic foundation of Nigeria as guest of honour..
He described the hosting of the convention as timely as ” the occasion is coming at the right time in Ondo State because of the coming Nov 16 Governorship election that is almost here , I want to appeal to all Muslim faithfuls here to please pray for Ondo State so that Allah (SWA) can give us the best to govern the State as from 2025.”
He opined that he is making this appeal because Ondo State at the moment needs a leader that has the passion and interest of the people at heart so that measures to cushion the effect of the present harsh economic situation can be put in place .
” As u all know, am also contesting for the Governorship seat on the platform of the PDP in the coming election but the greater concern for us all is for Ondo State to be peaceful and have a leader that can bring out the best for the people of the State at this hard time ” my brothers and sisters here present , we need to pray in this direction ” he said.
Agboola Ajayi while rounding up however wish all the delegates and Muslim faithfuls who have traveled from far and near to come and participate in this year’s annual convention a safe journey back to their various destinations.
