WALE AKINTERINWA VISITS IKARE AKOKO, PROMISES GOOD GOVERNANCE
As part of his consultations to contest as the Governor of Ondo State, Mr. Wale Akinterinwa has met with various groups including youths, market women, and notable individuals in Ikare Akoko.
The aim of the meeting was to discuss his ambition to become the next Governor of Ondo State and to seek their support.
Before meeting with the various groups, Mr. Akinterinwa sought the blessings of the Olukare of Ikare Land, Oba Saliu Akadri Momoh.
The traditional ruler offered prayers and words of encouragement, wishing Mr. Akinterinwa well in his ambition to lead the state.
Mr. Akinterinwa promised not to let the king down if given the opportunity to serve as Governor.
In the same vein, Wale Akinterinwa also paid a courtesy visit to the Owa of Ikare Akoko, Adeleke Adedoyin to inform him of his governorship ambition.
The monarch described him as a man of honour and prayed that God would lead the way towards the realisation of his ambition to lead the state in the forthcoming governorship election.
Mr. Akinterinwa thanked the traditional chiefs, party leaders, youths, and market women for their support and prayers for late Oluwarotimi Akeredolu until his death.
Akinterinwa also charged the delegations to view his WA PROJECT as a divine agenda that would positively impact the people of the state.
Mr. Akinterinwa emphasized his focus on being people-oriented government and promised to prioritize the empowerment and employment of youths.
He acknowledged the vital role the youth play in nation-building and pledged that a certain percentage of appointments would be given to youths.
The governorship aspirant acknowledged the importance of women in society and promised to prioritize their interests.
