ONDO @ 50: IYALOJA-GENERAL BOLADE EKO-DAVIES HAILS AIYEDATIWA FOR IMPARTING ON WOMEN, TRADERS
….As Governor’s Aide Commend Iyaloja-General of Nigeria, Folasade Tinubu-Ojo for Uniting Women
The Iyaloja-General of Ondo State, Chief(Mrs) Bolade Eko-Davies has hailed Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for justifying the confidence of the people in him and his administration.
Eko-Davies who was speaking with newsmen on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the state said the Governor has put in place Interventionist programmes and policies that are geared towards the welfare of market women as well as the generality of the people.
The Iyaloja-General who is also the Special Assistant to the Governor on Traders Affairs stated that for the first time, no fewer than 1,000 women were empowered at the 2025 International Women’s Day while many more have been empowered through the Skill-Up A Woman Initiative.
In her words, “as Ondo State marks golden jubilee anniversary, I am glad to associate with a government and a Governor that has succeeded in rekindling the hope of the people in democratic institution”
“On behalf of myself and market women in the nooks and crannies of our dear Sunshine State, I congratulate Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for not letting us down and for confirming that we didn’t make a mistake by voting for him as our Governor”.
Similarly, Chief((Mrs) Eko-Davies commended the Iyaloja-General of Nigeria, Chief(Mrs) Folasade Tinubu-Ojo for playing significant roles in uniting women and especially traders across the country.
She called for more support for both the Aiyedatiwa administration as well as President Bola Tinubu to enable the country’s leadership to keep imparting positively on the lives of the people, especially women and traders.
