…Commends bold initiatives of Tinubu, Aiyedatiwa to revamp economy
As Nigerians join the global community to welcome the new year, celebrating the grace of outliving the 2024, a Chieftain of All Progressives Congress ( APC), Barr. Olumuyiwa Adu who is fondly called Cubana has extended his best wishes to the good people of Ondo state.
According to his new year message made available to newsmen in Akure the state capital, Barrister Adu expressed the hope of a better Nigeria despite all the challenges facing the nation.
In his words, “it is no doubt that 2024 has come and gone with all its challenges and achievements, we must be thankful to God for the inherent grace and blessings and get prepared for the opportunities that year 2025 will offer”.
Dr Adu commended the perseverance of the peace -loving Nigerians and spirited efforts of President Bola Tinubu to tackle the inherited problems in the country.
He enjoined all political leaders as well as followers to join hands with the Government of Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa in the collective responsibility to develop Ondo State.
Advising youth on productiveness, Dr Adu advocated skill acquisition as a vital means of reducing criminal activities, political sycophancy as well as youth restiveness.
“Government at all levels must provide start -up funds for young entrepreneurs and rejig the educational curricular to incorporate artisanal training for secondary school students and undergraduates to promote job creation”.
“The citizens must continue to pray for our dear nation and our leaders as there is nothing impossible for God to do,” Dr Adu admonished.
Encouraging the rich to show more empathy towards the less privileged rather than primitive accumulation of wealth and titles, Dr Adu who is a decorated scholar and renowned philanthropist with a huge success story promised to elaborate his charity work in the new year to impact more positively on individuals and communities.
Giving kudos to the federal government for its bold initiatives to revamp economy, Dr Adu saluted the ongoing establishment of the Regional Development Commissions to catalyse infrastructural development of every region and the tax reforms that will help the poor and accelerate small and medium scale businesses.
He wished the best for the people of Ondo state and prayed for God’s guidance and unspeakable blessings for all throughout 2025.
