ONDO DECIDES 2024: RMAFC COMMISSIONER, NATHANIEL ADOJUTELEGAN WINS POLLING UNIT
…Commends Ilepa-Ekunso residents and electorate in Arigidi-Akoko for living up to expectations
The federal commissioner representing Ondo State in Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission(RMAFC) in Abuja, Dr. Nathaniel Adojutelegan on Saturday joined other residents in the state to participate in the much awaited governorship election.
Dr. Adojutelegan performed his civic responsibility at the polling unit infront of late Ogunleye House at Ilepa/Ekunso, Arigidi/Iye ward 1 in Arigidi-Akoko in Akoko Northwest local government area.
Speaking with newsmen shortly after casting his vote, the Adojutelegan who is also the Ashipori of Ilepa Quarters in the town commended the peaceful process of the exercise.
The federal commissioner described the turnout as encouraging and also urged residents to always be involved the process of electing their leaders.
In his words, “We shall continue to develop our democracy but our people must also show commitment as their involvement matters”.
“It’s high time we all decided that the process of determining who leads us depends on us”, the traditional authority urged.
Dr. Adojutelegan commended members of the All Progressives Congress in the area for living up to expectations as they voted massively for the All Progressives Congress.
According to the results made public in the Ilepa-Ekunso polling unit at Arigidi/Iye 1, the All Progressives Congress polled 113 while its closest rival, the People’s Democratic Party got 18 votes.
Dr. Adojutelegan expressed the hope that the APC candidate, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa would eventually win the election when results from other parts are released officially by the electoral umpire.
