The Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Dr Olayide Adelami, mni and other notable stakeholders in the education sector are to converge on Akure the state capital for a programme put in place to honour teachers.
The event propelled by News Connect Magazine is themed “Celebrating Teachers: The Unsung Heroes of the Society; Recognizing Their Values.
According to a statement made public by the Editor and Publisher of the News Connect Magazine, Taiwo Adebayo-Gold, the Programme tagged “Teachers Award and Appreciation 2025 is part of the efforts to honour the people who build future generations.
The guest speaker on the occasion is Dr(Mrs) Suzan Mopelola Olakunde, the Head of Department of Entrepreneurship in Adeyemi Federal University of Education in Ondo City.
The Keynote address will be delivered by the Proprietress of Mummy’s Place International Schools, Dr Damilola Oshin.
The event slated for Thursday October 2nd at Pharmacy House, Alagbaka in Akure is also to feature Awards Presentation, Cultural Display, Magazine Presentation and others.
