The Ondo East Local Government APC Women Forum for Tinubu 2027 has been launched at a colourful and well-attended ceremony.
The Occasion provided a platform for the women to publicly announce their unwavering commitment to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and their total support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
According to the Chief Host, the Executive Chairman , Ondo East Local Government Area, Hon. Joshua Ogunduyilemi, “this forum is born from a simple yet reactionary truth that When women unite, mountains move”.
“We are here to shatter glass ceilings, not with hammers of anger, but with the precision of intellect, the warmth of collaboration, and the fire of unapologetic ambition”.
He stated further that the agenda is clear and compelling, because a woman’s strength is a great asset.
The political gathering drew large numbers of women leaders, party faithful, youth groups, and community representatives from across Ondo East Local Government and beyond.
The atmosphere was electrified with songs, banters and encouraging speeches from party leaders and the forum chairperson, renewing vigour to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second term ambition.
The Chairman of the occasion, Dr (Barrister) Olumuyiwa Adu, an APC Chieftain who is eyeing the Ondo Central Senatorial seat in company of his teeming supporters, stormed the venue in a grand style to register his love and solidarity with the group.
He expressed his profound gratitude to the women forum for the warm reception, unity and unflinching loyalty to APC at the state and national levels.
In his address, he spoke confidently about the political direction of the nation, stating that President Tinubu would undoubtedly be re-elected in 2027.
According to him, “Yoruba must complete eight years. It is our turn and we must stand united behind our President”.
His words were met with cheers of agreement and strong admiration from the women.
The leadership of the Ondo East APC Women Forum also used the event to reassure party stakeholders of their readiness to mobilize across all wards and communities.
They pledged to intensify grassroots sensitization, strengthen voter education, and ensure that the APC secures overwhelming victory in the coming elections.
Their commitment, they emphasized, is not just political but also rooted in the belief that President Tinubu’s leadership will continue to bring meaningful progress to the nation.
In a remarkable display of philanthropy, Dr. Adu who is fondly addressed as “Cubana” donated ₦2 million to encourage the activities of the forum aside from other financial contributions as a reflection of his humility, kindness, and consistent dedication to uplifting those around him.
Dr. Adu stated that his journey in politics goes far beyond personal ambition, explaining that his mission was driven by a divine mandate to serve humanity.
“God Almighty has sent me to lift His people out of poverty and political ignorance. My purpose is to help those who truly need support and to bring positive changes to our communities.” He reiterated.
He emphasized the need for leaders to remain accessible, compassionate, and committed to improving the lives of average citizens.
He promised to solidify his interactions with the good people of Ondo East people in the coming days.
“My relationship with you will go beyond politics. We are now one big united family”, Dr Adu resonated.
Dr. Adu also took a moment to commend the performance of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, describing him as a focused, diligent and visionary leader.
He noted that the governor has started on a strong footing and expressed confidence that with continued support and time, Governor Aiyedatiwa will deliver greater democratic dividends for the people of Ondo State.
His commendation for the governor further strengthened the harmony within the Ondo State’s APC family.
The highlight of the event was the inauguration of the forum in the full glare of the party leaders by the Ondo East APC Local Government Chairman, Hon. Olamigoke Busayo who pleaded for unity and unflinching loyalty among the newly recruited political foot soldiers.
