ONDO EMPOWERS RESCUED HOMELESS WOMAN WITH RENTED APARTMENT, HOUSEHOLD ITEMS
Ondo State Government has come to the aid of Iromidayo Millionaire, a homeless woman recently rescued by the Ministry of Women Affairs.
Iromidayo has been provided with a rented apartment and essential household items to help her begin a new life.
The gesture is part of the effort to support and reintegrate vulnerable individuals into society.
The Commissioner-designate in the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, Dr. Seun Osamaye was represented at the official handover of the apartment and items by Director of Social Welfare, Adebayo Oyegunwa.
Dr. Osamaye reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to Iromidayo’s welfare, announcing that she would be offered a temporary role as an instructor at a Skill Acquisition Centre to be established in her neighborhood.
Overwhelmed with joy, Iromidayo Millionaire expressed deep gratitude to Governor Aiyedatiwa and the Ministry of Women Affairs for ensuring that no segment of the society is neglected.
This recent development follows earlier efforts by the state government in April, when Iromidayo was rescued.
At that time, Dr. Osamaye ensured she received shelter, food, personal care items, and temporary accommodation at a government facility.
