ONDO GOVERNMENT REITERATES SUPPORT TO YOUTH FRIENDLY POLICIES
Ondo State Government has said youths would be adequately considered in its policy formulation and implementation, just as it affirmed the readiness of the present administration to continually put in place programmes that will promote youth development.
The Secretary to the State Government, Princess Catherine Oladunni Odu made this known while playing host to the National and State Executives of the Not-Too-Young To Run Group in Akure.
Princess Odu disclosed that the Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON, is interested in initiating and executing programmes and policies that would benefit the youths and make them more relevant for the society.
Speaking earlier, the National Coordinator, Samuel Ogundairo, appreciated the support and leadership of the Governor, Arakunrin Akeredolu towards the course of youths in the State.
He also thanked the SSG for her
roles towards moving the State forward and expressed optimism that the Akeredolu-led administration will leave the State better than it met it.
According to a statement signed by the Media Officer in the office of the SSG, Debbie Funmilayo, the National Coordinator added that they desire to see more of their members appointed to leadership positions and similarly have them gainfully employed in the State.
