ONDO HEAD OF SERVICE, BAYO PHILIP FELICITATES WORKERS ON MAY DAY CELEBRATION
As Ondo State workers join their counterparts across the globe to celebrate this year’s Workers Day, the Head of Service, Bayo Philip has felicitated them on yet another anniversary.
This was according to a statement personally signed by him to acknowledge the contributions of workers to the development of the state.
“I particularly rejoice with you for witnessing an era of numerous welfare packages by the present administration under the leadership of our amiable worker-friendly Governor, His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, who, prioritizes the well-being of the workers, both serving and retired.”
“Let me also appreciate the harmonious relationship, based on mutual engagement and dialogue, that the leadership of the Organised Labour has maintained with the government over time.”
“I wish to assure our workers of government’s unrelenting commitment to workers’ welfare in the State. Mr Governor is resolute about raising a virile and well-motivated workforce capable of delivering on government programmes and policies.”
“As we celebrate, I enjoin our workers to know that to whom much is given, much is expected. There is no more excuses for underperformance or non-performance. We should stay committed to our new mantra, ‘don’t deliver short, don’t deliver late.”
“Once again, I wish you happy Workers’ Day!”
