ONDO LG POLL: AKURE SOUTH APC CHAIRMANSHIP CANDIDATE FASUA ASSURES OF INCLUSIVE GOVERNANCE
The Akure South Chairmanship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the fast-approaching local government election in Ondo State, Dr. Gbenga Fasua has pledged to play significant roles in complimenting the efforts of Governor Aiyedatiwa at ensuring overall development of his council area.
Dr. Fasua who spoke with newsmen shortly after a stakeholders’ meeting with the Governor in Akure said all structures and processes have been put in place to facilitate both human and societal development.
The Chairmanship candidate joined other Chairmanship and Vice Chairmanship candidates as well as councillorship candidates at the meeting where Governor Aiyedatiwa charged them not to be complacent.
And in a chat with newsmen Dr. Fasua expressed optimism of coming out victorious in the January 18 poll, assuring that achievements recorded have convinced residents that the party means well for the people.
The candidate called on youths in the local government area to maintain peace before, during and after the exercise.
He also urged the people of the council area to support the All Progressives Congress as his administration would impart positively on the lives of the people as had been demonstrated during his reign as Transition Committee Chairman.
