ONDO LG POLL: AKURE SOUTH APC CHAIRMANSHIP CANDIDATE, GBENGA FASUA EXPRESSES HOPE OF VICTORY
The Chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Akure South local government in the Saturday poll, Dr. Gbenga Fasua has commended the state government for providing enabling environment for the exercise.
Fasua who was speaking with newsmen shortly after performing his civic responsibility in Akure the state capital also commended the electorate in a peaceful manner.
Reacting to the voter apathy observed during the exercise, the Chairmanship candidate said election is a process as all voters may not come out at once.
Fasua who expressed hope of coming out victorious assured that his administration would play significant roles in complimenting Governor Aiyedatiwa’s efforts at leaving the state better than he met it.
He assured that various programmes and policies are being put in place to ensure that the people feel the impact of democracy.
This, he said would be demonstrated in the area of Agriculture, Education, Micro-credit facilities, accessible and affordable healthcare as well as adequate security of lives and property.
