
ONDO LG SERVICE COMMISSION CELEBRATES COMMISSIONER, RONKE OJO ON BIRTHDAY
It was celebration galore on Friday September 26th, 2025 in the premises of the Ondo State Local Government Service Commission at Alagbaka in Akure the state capital.
It was a show of love and recognition for a Commissioner in the local government service commission, Hon. Ronke Ojo on the occasion of her birthday.
It was a moment to behold as management and staff including the senior and junior staff welcomed the celebrant to the office with a mobile music band.
The sounds of the drums, trumpets and Saxophones were laced with birthday songs led by the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Bayo Ilawole and another Commissioner, Hon. Dennis Alonge-Niyi.
The Permanent Secretary, Dr. Bayo Ilawole described Hon.(Mrs) Ronke Ojo as a dedicated public servant whose passion for the growth of the third tier of government remains a great encouragement for others.
Dr. Ilawole felicitated the Commissioner for witnessing another year in good health and prayed for more glorious celebrations.
The Permanent Secretary urged public servants to always play their part in the development of the local government service commission as well as the staff and the state in general.
In his comments, a Commissioner in the Commission, Hon. Dennis Alonge-Niyi said Hon. Ronke Ojo has always justified the confidence reposed in her by ensuring that all programmes keyed into the “Our Ease” Agenda of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa are carried out to the letter in the third tier of government.
The Commissioner urged the celebrant not to relent in her efforts at being a yardstick to measure commitment to efficient service delivery.
In her remarks, the celebrant, Hon. Ronke Ojo expressed appreciation for the show of love and recognition on her special day.
She said the honour would remain a challenge for her to continue to contribute her quota to the development of the Service as well as Ondo State in general.
The occasion, though brief could be described as a lesson for all to keep playing their parts in whatever responsibility they are given at any level of government.
There was also light refreshments to mark the birthday just as the birthday cake was cut to symbolise the special day.
